West Anaheim Medical Center offers comprehensive cardiovascular services including diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Noninvasive diagnostic procedures may include:
- Electrocardiogram (EKG)
- Echocardiograms (ultrasound of the heart)
- Treadmill Stress Test
- Pharmacologic Nuclear Stress Tests (Lexiscan, Dobutamine, Adenosine)

Cardiologists, alongside our highly skilled cardiac catheterization team, provide angiography, as well as, percutaneous coronary interventions. Minimally invasive procedures may include:
- Left and right heart catheterization
- Angioplasty
- Coronary stenting
- Insertion of temporary pacemaker
- Insertion of intra-aortic balloon pump
- Fractional flow reserve
The cardiac catheterization team is available 24 hours a day for emergency procedures. We are a designated STEMI (ST elevated myocardial infarction or “heart attack”) receiving center.
For patients requiring further interventions, West Anaheim Medical Center offers open heart surgical services and permanent pacemaker insertions.
